Walked by the entrance and almost missed it as upstairs. Lovely atmosphere. Good espresso. Can not judge the food as did not get any. Perfect place to spend sometime on a rainy day reading or enjoying a good conversation.

“Better Coffee, Better Life” Just 20 mins on Line 2 from Gangnam, the aptly named “A to B” sits under the arches of one of Seoul’s busiest weekend subway stations, Seongsu (성수). Traditionally a manufacturing hub, the cafes of Seongsu-dong have achieved longevity and huge popularity through re-generating the industrial landscape. Starting with the rustic factory vibe of cafe Onion in 2015 to Common Ground container park and Daelim Warehouse the current generation of cafe entrepreneurs are now adding speciality coffee to this eclectic suburb. A to B’s modern cocktail bar setting is in fact on the second floor of a 1970s office and factory block. Contrasting with the unkept exterior the interior features brushed stainless steel countertops, wall-to-wall modern windows and striking monochrome Art Deco furniture. Speciality cafe during the day and bar by night they serve high balls, gin and tonics, whisky and wine till 10pm. The coffee selection at the time of visiting included: 1) A to B (Ethiopia Koke Honey) 2) Jeju Blend (Guatemala, Colombia, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia and Tanzania) 3) De-Caffeine (Colombia Pitalito San Augustine)
